Ghana 2015: Waec Cancels 2,323 Candidates Papers in Ghana

We’ve just confirmed the news that the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has released the WASSCE results with more than two thousand, three hundred and twenty three thousand (2,323) candidates having their Papers Canceled by the board.

According to the advice from WAEC board, all candidates are required to contact their heads of school for the results.

The general public should note that the <a href=”” target=”_blank”>West African Examinations Council (Waec)</a> has released provisional results of the 2015 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

Please take note that the results can be accessed by candidates through Waec online website while the hard copies have been dispatched to the various schools where candidates partake in examination.

Take note that the examination were written this year (2015) May/June.

The entire results of candidates from One hundred and eighty five (185) schools have been withheld pending the conclusion of investigations from the board.

While a total of one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine (1,859) candidates had their subject results cancelled while 453 candidates had their entire results cancelled by the WAEC board.

Also reaching us is that eight candidates, who had their entire results cancelled, have been barred from taking any of Waec’s exams for a space of two years.

This information was released at a press conference on Friday to announce the release of the results, Waec emphasised that the malpractices recorded were exposed by the innovative measures introduced.

A total of 268,812 students from 810 schools sat the examinations. But 1,015 of them were absent.
